I didn't Know that Cape Cod was in Massachusetts though I had heard about Cape Cod a lot. Cape Cod is the place where Pilgrims finally landed after a tough two-month voyage. I can't imagin how they endured the harsh winter without foods. It's no wonder that they wanted to thank God after next year's big harvest. Also we can find this kind of holiday in many contries such as Chusuk in Korea. We almost forgot how much we are lucky for not worrying about hunger.

I didn't know the significate of thanksgining day before our class today, all the real history around this holiday is really interesting because is about the foundation of this nation since the pilogrims came here from england, today I learned how was the first winter of all those people in this land, that winter was hard, because almost half of them were died in that time, but the native's help them to be ready for the next year, the native's show them how the can produce their own food, how they can fishing and other expects
of their new life,so in the next winter they have a better time than first so after that the give the thanks to god for all those things, they make a big celebrate, the made some food using native ingredients,so since that time the american people brings thanks to god for that glorius time,so the tanksgiving day is one of the most important holidays in america.
